About BIDEC

BIDEC was founded with one belief at its core: Bangladesh deserves solutions built by its own engineers, powered by its own ideas. We started this journey to prove that innovation does not always come from outside—sometimes the best answers grow right here at home. Our aim has always been to think differently, challenge what is “normal,” and open the door for Bangladeshi creativity to thrive.

Caring for the environment is not just part of our work—it is the reason we exist. We are driven by the responsibility to protect the world our children will inherit. Every decision we make, every product we design, and every problem we try to solve carries the same question: Are we leaving the planet slightly better than we found it?

Though BIDEC was officially established in 2023, our journey started long before. For more than two years, we have been quietly researching, learning, and experimenting with sustainable technologies. Along the way, we have partnered with environmental groups and organizations who share our vision. And while our contribution may be small today, we believe that small steps—taken consistently—create meaningful change.
