The most common heavy duty pallet storage solution in warehouses is the selective pallet racking, often known as static racking. Its affordability and extensive choice of vertical heights and beam diameters for personalized designs account for its widespread appeal. It allows not only to store loads at various heights, utilizing maximum space, but also provides easy access to all stored pallets without the need to move others.
Advantages:
- Flexibility in design according to product or pallet size improves storage capacity.
- Assembly and reinstallation process is much simpler than other systems.
- All the pallets are easily accessible as they are all clearly visible.
- As this system is accessible by most types of forklifts, its initial and maintenance cost is lower.

- Though flexibility in design improves storage capacity of the racks, the rack density in warehouse is much lower than other systems.
